ESTATE PLANNING

Responsible adults should make plans for the distribution of their property on death. In the absence of a plan, state law makes these critical decisions often with results contrary to what decedents want.  Lee assists clients by developing unique estate plans based on a client’s individual needs.  Lee considers tax consequences, probate costs and client desires in formulating plans. Lee provides the following services:

  • Prepares wills, trusts, transfer on death deeds, and other documents needed to transfer property following death. 

  • Counsels and assists clients regarding long term care, nursing home residency, Medicaid and Medicare.

  • Aids clients in planning for incapacity with the preparation of durable powers of attorney, health care powers of attorney, and  advanced directives for health care.

  • Counsels regarding guardianship - the planning for the care of a minor child or incapacitated adult.
